In December 1996 the Richmond U.S. Attorney's Office and the Baltimore office of the EEOC brought this suit against Anesthesia Associates of Richmond, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. In July 1997, both parties filed motions for summary judgments that were denied in August 1997. The case settled by entry of a consent decree in September 1997. No other information was made available pertaining to the nature of the suit or the consent decree.
