The EEOC's Milwaukee district office brought this suit against Specialty Care Services, d/b/a West Park Place on May 11, 2004 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. The EEOC's complaint alleged that the defendant violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 when it discriminated based on sex (female) and pregnancy by terminating a female employee when she returned from maternity leave.
