In September 2004, the EEOC district office in Richmond, Virginia brought this suit against the Braden Sutphin Ink Company in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The complaint is not currently available. A consent decree was entered in May 2005. Although the consent decree is unavailable, the docket states that the defendant would expunge its employment records concerning the aggrieved party and that the terms of the agreement would run for two years.
