The EEOC's Atlanta District Office sued ARAC, Inc., an Atlanta Compny d/b/a Atlanta Rent-A-Car, on September 2, 2003 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The EEOC's complaint alleged that ARAC violated Title VII when it discriminated based on religion (Islam) by failing to consider two Islamic applicants for employment. The parties settled and dismissed the case on September 2, 2004.
