This Title VII case was brought in the U.S District Court for the District of New Mexico, against All American Meat, Inc. d/b/a Farmers Country Market. The complaint, filed in February 2006, alleged sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, specifically that Defendant had sexually harassed the charging party and then retaliated against her by discharging her for complaining about the sexual harassment.

In August 2006 a consent decree was signed by the judge. The decree was valid for 3 years and required the Defendant to pay the charging party a total of $37,500. Defendant was enjoined for discriminating and retaliating against employees in violation of Title VII. Defendant was also required to provide Title VII training to its employees, post a notice of non-discrimination at its facility, designate one of its employees to serve as an investigative officer for sexual harassment issues, and regularly report to the EEOC about its compliance with the decree.
