The Los Angeles District Office of the EEOC brought this suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada against Consolidated Reality, Inc. in June 2006. The complaint alleged sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The defendant allegedly discharged a female employee because of her sex. The parties engaged in an unsuccessful settlement conference with an early neutral evaluator. There were several contested discovery motions and the EEOC moved for partial summary judgment, which was granted. On 4/10/2008, the court denied the defendant's motion for clarification of the court's partial summary judgment order. The case was ongoing in the district court as of 4/22/2008.
