The Milwaukee office of the EEOC brought this discrimination suit against ShopKo Stores Inc. in February 1997, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. After the parties engaged in an unsuccessful settlement conference, both the parties filed partial motions for summary judgment. The court granted the defendant's partial motion for summary judgment. After another unsuccessful settlement conference, the parties eventually agreed to a settlement. The court entered a consent decree in March 1999. No information on the consent decree is available (only the case docket is available).
