The Memphis District Office of the EEOC brought this suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee against Nationsbank of Tennessee in late March 2000. The only document publicly available in this case is the docket. Therefore, the exact allegations involved are unknown. In June 2000, Nationsbank filed an answer to the EEOC's complaint. Then it appears there was very little action in the case until December 2000 when a scheduling conference was set for February 13, 2001. However, this conference never took place because the parties reached a settlement on February 12, 2001 and entered into a consent agreement in late February 2001.
