On April 20, 1995, the United States filed a lawsuit under Title VII against the City of Ormond Beach in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida alleging employment discrimination based on sex.

On August 31, 1995, the parties proposed and agreement, which the district court (Magistrate Judge David A. Baker) entered the same day. According to the agreement, the defendant agreed to amend its sexual harassment policy. The case was closed on August 31, 1995. We have no further information on this case.
