On January 11, 1994, the U.S. Department of Justice ("D.O.J.") filed a lawsuit against the Township of Ridley and Ridley Township Civil Service Commission, under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

On June 30, 1994 the district court (Judge Robert F. Kelly) entered a consent decree. The docket ends on June 30, 1994 with the district Court closing the case. We do not have access to the consent decree, and we have no further information.
